Terms of Service

Plain English summary: Dropp finds deals in your Gmail Promotions tab and/or Outlook and sends them to your WhatsApp when you ask. We are not responsible if a deal has expired. You can disconnect at any time by sending /disconnect, and delete your account entirely with /delete.

1. Who we are

Dropp is a personal deals service operated from London, UK. By using Dropp, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Contact: hello@dropp.ltd.

2. What Dropp does

Dropp connects to your Gmail and/or Outlook account (with your explicit consent via OAuth), scans promotional emails from the past 7 days, and sends you a deals digest via WhatsApp when you request it by sending /sales. All email processing is automated — no human reads your emails. After every scan, you receive a receipt on WhatsApp listing every brand whose emails were read.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dropp.
You must have a WhatsApp account and at least one of: a Google Gmail account or a Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365 account.
You must be the account holder for all accounts you connect to Dropp — do not connect someone else's email account.

4. Email access

Gmail: When you connect your Gmail account, you grant Dropp read-only access via Google's OAuth 2.0 system (scope: gmail.readonly). We use this access solely to scan your Promotions category for active discount emails. We do not access your inbox, sent mail, or any other folder.

Outlook: When you connect your Microsoft account, you grant Dropp read-only access via Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 system (scope: Mail.Read). We use this access solely to scan commercial promotional emails from your Inbox and Junk Email folders. Emails from personal email domains are filtered out immediately and never processed.

You can revoke access at any time by:

Sending /disconnect on WhatsApp — removes Gmail access immediately
Sending /disconnect outlook on WhatsApp — removes Outlook access immediately
Visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing Dropp (Gmail)
Visiting myaccount.microsoft.com/permissions and removing Dropp (Outlook)
Emailing hello@dropp.ltd

Disconnecting stops future scans but keeps your account and preferences. To delete your account entirely, send /delete.

5. What we do with your data

We use your data only to provide the service. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy. Our use of Microsoft user data complies with the Microsoft Graph API Terms of Use.

6. Accuracy and disclaimer

Dropp extracts deals automatically using AI. We cannot guarantee that every deal we send you is:

Still active at the time you read it
Applicable to your account or location
Accurately extracted (discount amounts may vary)
Not subject to exclusions or minimum spend requirements

Always verify deals directly with the retailer before purchasing. Dropp is not affiliated with any brands or retailers whose deals appear in your digest.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Dropp to connect Gmail accounts that do not belong to you
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
Use automated tools to interact with Dropp's WhatsApp or Telegram interface
Attempt to access other users' data

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Service availability

Dropp is provided as-is, currently in beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. If we discontinue Dropp, we will give reasonable notice to active users via WhatsApp or Telegram.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dropp and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including missed deals, expired discount codes, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Dropp shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which, as Dropp is currently free, is £0).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will notify active users via WhatsApp or Telegram at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
